Since 1999, Lana Veenker has grown Portland's Cast Iron Studiointo one of the top location casting companies in North America. Selected credits include The Water Man, Wild, Grimm, and Twilight, for directors such as Jean-Marc Vallée, David Oyelowo, Catherine Hardwicke, and Gus Van Sant. Lana has also worked as a producer, writer, and stage director, and has helped shepherd several screenplays through the development process. Billed by The Hollywood Reporter as “a must-know for an Oregon shoot,” she is a member of the Television Academy, the Casting Society of America, the Oregon Media Production Association (Award of Excellence recipient), and the International Casting Directors Network (Executive Board). Lana recently received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Casting on Netflix’s Trinkets, as well as two nominations for Excellence in Casting at the 2022 Artios Awards.
